It's Time - Africian Women Join Hands Against Domestic Violence
DVD now available $20 each including shipping

Taking viewers inside women's safe houses, It's Time: African Women Join Hands Against Domestic Violence gives an inside glimpse of the lives of African women and girls forced to flee abuse. It tells how a unique partnership between a Canadian agency and two African organizations is working to combat an epidemic of domestic violence.

From the violent streets of post-apartheid Johannesburg, South Africa, to the impoverished countryside of Ethiopia, where up to 80% of marriages result from abduction and rape, this provocative film gives a glimpse of how domestic violence is entwined in the history and the social and cultural fabrics of these African countries.
